What is the assay call accuracy, and how is it determined?

Call accuracy is the proportion of the number of correctly called genotypes for an assay compared to the total number of samples with genotype assigned by the software. To determine the call accuracy, you need to use multiple reference samples with known genotypes or a second method (e.g., sequencing) to verify the genotypes. Call accuracy can be influenced by the assay design and specificity of the assay.
